“I love to put a smile on people’s faces and to help them to do what they love.”
You’re lucky to get a guy like Dylan Moen if you’re going for physical therapy. Musculoskeletal issues can be complex, but caregivers like Dylan achieve everyday miracles by keeping that simple goal in mind– to put a smile on your face.
His mission in life is simple, too: to help others. Simple but not easy. To follow that noble calling, he knows he has to “go above and beyond.” So it comes as no surprise that the word friends and family choose to describe Dylan is extra. It characterizes Dylan with zen-like perfection . He recognizes that he’s a bit over the top when it comes to treatment, but the guy can’t help it! Extra is his passion. Moderation in all things? Not for this guy. Great outcomes demand an enthusiastic caregiver, a champion who will do more.
Dylan goes the extra mile. What started as a passion to help others has become his professional focus, as he continuously educates himself in anatomy and biomechanics. This combination of personal enthusiasm and professional commitment have made Dylan a truly valuable member of the Orthology team.
Speaking of teams, another passion of Dylan’s is volleyball, a sport where communication is at a premium. Teams actually do drills to improve communication. Of course, talking to patients, understanding their goals, empathizing with their concerns and needs is fundamental to great PT. When not absorbed in a podcast, or playing with his Husky, this Clarke University graduate and Certified Athletic Trainer loves some downtime with Netflix or Hulu. We just hope whatever he watches puts a smile on his face, because he puts a smile on ours.
