Orthology is happy to welcome Jake Kremer to the staff. Originally from Eden Prairie, he’s not only homegrown talent, but also thrives in a team environment. A fine hockey player for University of Minnesota, he says “my passion for athletics fueled my interest in movement science– and helping others meet their goals.”
Sports, exercise and an active lifestyle have always been at the center of Jake’s world. Like so many of his fellow Orthologists, this led him to his work as a caregiver. As an athlete, he understood physical injury, and the difficulties people endure as they struggle with pain and loss of full function.
Plus, his competitive edge serve him well. He brings that passion to work every day, committed to helping others reach their goals in PT. It works in tandem with his natural empathy. This is a practitioner who is dedicated to caring for others, and will give his all to get his patients back to doing what they love.
“I put myself in the patient’s shoes, and then we work together to reach a common goal–or goals. Just knowing that I have had a positive impact on their daily quality of life inspires me.”
It all gets down to movement. Jake counsels his patients to find an activity that they love to do, “to continue to keep moving. Your body loves to be in motion!” Sound advice from this accomplished athlete and highly skilled practitioner.
One last note . . . although he’s new to the Orthology team, Jake already has a patient success story, and it’s a great one: “A patient of mine was told by their physician that they would never walk again. Through compassion, teamwork and manual therapy they are now walking daily!”
In addition to his DPT, Jake is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified in Dry Needling, and Fellow in Training of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
