Justin Blood has a passion for helping his patients achieve full recovery and return to their desired level of function, whether it’s simply activities of daily living or competing in an Iron Man competition. His mission is to keep patients on track to meet their goals, and he uses all of his many skills, including manual techniques, neuromuscular re-education and individual exercise instruction.
Justin earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University in 2000, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from LLU in 2002. In 2006, he was certified as an orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Justin treats patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses, and has particular interest working with runners and cyclists, specifically overuse injuries. He has advanced training in both of these areas. In 2012, he earned his certification in bike fitting through Serotta International Cycling Institute.
His focus is analyzing biomechanics to identify faulty movement patterns which contribute to the cause of injury, and then correcting them– whether it is the runner’s stride or the cyclist’s position in the saddle. This, combined with his clinical skills, has helped many runners and cyclists return to their sport and reach their goals.
