“Confident” is the way friends and family describe Justin. It’s a great attribute to have as a caregiver. Confidence builds trust for patients. They start feeling better– knowing they’re in good hands. Literally, when it comes to physical therapy!
Earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science with a focus in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, he’s studied Physical Therapy at St. Catherine University. But it’s hard to keep a guy like Justin in a classroom, however much he loves to learn. He’s all about recreation– hiking, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, hunting—and that’s not meant to sound frivolous. He has an unwavering, passionate commitment to staying active and inspiring patients to do the same.
That’s what it’s all about for Justin–helping others go from an injury to performing at their best. He “digs in,” gains an in-depth knowledge of what’s behind that injury, and develops an individualized treatment program to achieve a successful outcome.
In fact, maybe a success story is the best way to get to know Justin.
He started treating an individual who had been placed in a boot for 6 months. She had seen a number of practitioners without positive results. She started with a decreased ability to ambulate and full body pain.
Here’s the good part: following an individualized treatment and strength program the patient was able to walk again, return to lifting weights, and was also able to decrease the levels of her necessary medication! Yes!
It’s inspiring to Justin. It’s just the kind of positive treatment outcome that inspires confidence in people that come into Orthology.
Confident. There’s that word again.
