I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia and got my degree in Spanish at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia (go Rams!). I moved to Austin, Texas where I spent three years enjoying the live music and great food, and in my spare time, went to graduate school for my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. I moved back to Richmond after graduating in 2015 and got married to my husband, Matt. After working for a year and a half at a busy clinic in Richmond, I started my travel PT career and worked in Northern California, on a Navajo reservation in Arizona, in rural Minnesota, and in Central California near Yosemite. We fell in love with the Twin Cities during our stint in MN in 2017 and moved to Minneapolis in October 2018.
We are enjoying the first real winter of our lives (my husband is a born-and-bred southern Californian) and loving all that Minnesota has to offer. We enjoy being outdoors, especially to hike with our boxers, Lilly and Frankie, and love to travel.
I love being a physical therapist to help people- I learn something new from each of my patients that makes me a better practitioner. I feel like we make a real difference in people’s lives and am happy to work for a company that values that!
