A skilled practitioner for many years, Sandra completed her B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1986, graduating from the University of Pretoria, known as one of the top research institutions in South Africa.
She has wide experience in a number of clinical settings, including outpatient, inpatient, home health and skilled care facilities. A true “hands-on” caregiver, she actively addresses the challenges of outpatient clinical settings and chronic pain management. Sandra has successfully treated soft tissue, ankle and foot injuries, while widening her scope to deal with lumbar, cervical and upper extremity injuries.
In addition, Sandra has considerable experience with work conditioning, specific therapy that develops programs for patients that simulate the physical demands of their jobs. And her care has yielded positive outcomes, returning injured workers to their jobs–even adjusting the parameters of jobs so the patient is able to resume a full work schedule.
Over the last two decades, striving to be the best she can be, Sandra has completed continuing education course work, focusing on new breakthroughs in soft tissue injuries and treatments. In addition, Sandra is certified in dry needling.
