Alison Hayman grew up in Chicago enjoying an active lifestyle- playing soccer, running and strength training. Her love of being physically active led her to pursue a career in physical therapy, allowing her to share this love with others while helping them enjoy pursuits unhampered by injury or pain.
In her practice, Alison encourages patients to embrace an active lifestyle within the context of overall wellness. She enjoys collaborating with her patients to develop a comprehensive plan designed to help them be successful throughout the rehab process and beyond.
Alison obtained a Master of Physical Therapy degree from St. Louis University and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She has since earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2014. During her orthopedic residency, Alison underwent intensive manual therapy training and learned principles from the Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan and muscle energy techniques. She has a particular interest in treating perinatal patients.
When Alison is not working to improve the wellness of others, she enjoys strength training, practicing yoga, meditation and cooking healthy foods with her family.
