Lauren received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology in 2008. She joined the Orthology team in August of 2018. Lauren is a certified Lymphedema therapy, CLT and is also certified in advanced manipulative therapy.
Lauren began her career in outpatient sports medicine and spent over 8 years working with athletes of all ages from little league and peewee all the way up to the professional level. She has treated professional athletes in a wide range of sports from football, basketball, baseball, soccer. When asked who her favorite athlete is she responds with Giancarlo Stanton, “He is very personable and humble, all around good guy.” She has vast experience treating surgical and non surgical injuries and true lay believes in the Orthology motto “Get Better Faster”.
Lauren was introduced to Physical Therapy in high school after multiple hamstring injuries due to dance. “Physical Therapy helped me get back to dancing and that’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do, I wanted to be the person who helped other get back to the activities they loved.”
Lauren became a certified Lymphatic Therapist in 2017 allowing her to help patients suffering from Lymphedema due to different cancers mainly breast cancer survivors.
When not working Lauren loves spending time with her family and friends,cooking and traveling, “I love to travel to new place and learn about different cultures”. She has participated in the Muddarella race 3 years in a row to support Futures without violence, an organization aimed at ending domestic abuse.
