Samantha is driven to keep her patients active and believes everyone has the capacity to perform and function with greater ease and strength given the right tools. Utilizing manual therapy techniques, functional assessments, gait analysis, postural and core reeducation, and strength and conditioning programs, Samantha will effectively improve your level of fitness and optimize your performance.
Samantha graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University where she received her B.S. in Kinesiology. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and holds a certification in SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment).
Samantha has completed several continuing education courses through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) and constantly develops her manual therapy skills. Her training in functional manual therapy allows her to give patients a unique hands on experience each session. She believes in quality treatments, using a whole body approach that will identify all underlying impairments. Not only will you learn how to resolve the issues brought on by daily life or injuries, you will also gain the knowledge of how to prevent injuries in the future.
An avid runner herself, Samantha specializes in working with the running population. Samantha has worked with all levels of athletes ranging from pediatrics, weekend warriors, marathon runners, triathletes and professional athletes. Samantha is proficient at running analysis and has experience with the Optogait system. Each patient can expect an individualized rehabilitation and injury prevention program that will improve their running efficiency, performance and form. Her love for running and the therapeutic effects that go along with it, motivates her to push her patients to achieve all of their running goals.
