Samantha Berk is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in sports medicine. Growing up in Florida, Samantha took full advantage of her surroundings, where she was always active and enjoying the outdoors.
Being a competitive soccer player, she understands first-hand the importance of physical therapy and believes prevention is key. As an active individual herself, she stresses the importance of a proactive approach to injury prevention. Samantha recognizes how physical therapy, with a commitment to the whole patient, can help transform entropy into endurance, pain into progress.
She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Global Health from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After working in Africa and Costa Rica, Samantha went on to do clinical research. Switching gears, she decided she wanted to become a practitioner herself. She earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree at Barry University in Miami, Florida and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
