A very welcome addition to the Orthology team, this highly-skilled, professionally accomplished chiropractor has deep experience as a caregiver. Plus, she’s as passionate about her work today as when she first discovered chiropractic as a 15 year old patient– when she “fell in love with the Science, Art and Philosophy associated with natural, holistic health care.”
“Most people think you need to have pain to seek chiropractic care, but the truth is chiropractic is a tool we have to prevent and heal.”
Terry is absolutely committed to living and teaching others about a healthy lifestyle. For her, it gets back to being passionate about helping others. She recognizes that there’s immense satisfaction in accomplishing goals that she sets with her patients, knowing the extraordinary capabilities of chiropractic care.
She also knows that such care can change the course of people’s lives. Based on open communication with patients, she structures a forward-thinking, complete plan to address their pain or injury. “It’s much easier to be proactive in relation to your health than reactive to your disease.” Given years of successful outcomes, she knows how often a change in lifestyle, combined with effective treatment, will create a path to long-term health.
To illustrate, she tells a compelling story about a patient who had been in pain for 8 years. Numerous doctors prescribed various pain medications, including narcotics. He was depressed, afraid of the future. But with Terry’s help, he weaned himself off meds and fully embraced a healthier lifestyle, which helped pull him out of this downward spiral. Most importantly, he’s now pain free and back to doing what he loves.
In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Terry is as an Applied Kinesiology (AK) practitioner, certified in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) and a member of the Chiropractic Leadership Alliance.
